It’s no secret that the migration of enterprise applications, databases and workloads to the cloud is accelerating. The benefits of the cloud can’t be denied. From faster provisioning of resources to rapid application development and lower costs, the cloud is the future and the future is here.
From outlining the business case to providing a comprehensive overview of realized benefits of the migration, operating partners and private equity professionals learned about value creation realization through the cloud at the recent Operating Partners Forum for Private Equity International. The group learned tips and tricks from clients who have successfully implemented a cloud migration, including Achieve3000 and Insight Partners, on the co-hosted AWS customer panel.
The conference also heard from Insight Partners about the value that cloud technologies have helped their portfolio companies realize. Rob Bruno provided a first-hand perspective with fascinating insights into what made Achieve3000’s move to the cloud a success.
The session, which took place on October 15th through Private Equity International in New York City, offered operating partners a look into the key business drivers and value creation levers to prepare themselves for migrating to the public cloud.
