Crosslake Technologies, LLC (the “Company”) is committed to protecting the personal and other confidential information of our clients. We provide this notice to explain the type of information we collect in the Corsis Application and Self Assessment Diagnostic tool (collectively the “Applications”), and how that information is used. Usage of the Applications is also governed by our Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with the Terms and Conditions or this Privacy Notice, please do not use this site or submit information to the Applications. This Privacy Notice applies only to information provided or collected through the Applications and not to information provided through other channels.

Information Collection and Usage

We collect information from you in order to provision access to the Applications, personalize your experience in our Applications and provide you with URL links or access to our service reports and deliverables. Crosslake uses the information collected to provide the services requested. We collect information about the technological proficiency and other processes of your company or from companies that you direct us to assess. We collect information from you during Application site usage and use it to improve application performance and usability. We may use your email address to send you newsletters or marketing information, which you may opt out of.

Information collected from users may also be used for internal marketing analysis; for example, to assess trends or application usage patterns. We may share non-personal information with others in aggregate anonymous form, which means that the information will not contain any personally-identifiable information about you or your company. For example, we might combine certain elements of your information with information from similar entities for industry-wide trend analysis and comparisons.

We may disclose your information when required by law or appropriate governmental authority. In the event of a sale, merger, consolidation, change in control, transfer of substantial assets, reorganization or liquidation, we may transfer, sell, or assign to third parties information concerning your relationship with us, including without limitation, information that you provide and other information concerning your relationship with us. We may transfer your information to third parties under confidentiality obligations when the performance of any service in relation to the activities above is sub-contracted.

Application Navigation Information

The Company uses commonly-available tools (such as cookies and web beacons) to collect information as you navigate the Applications. Cookies are files or pieces of information that may be stored in your computer’s hard drive when you visit the Applications. Cookies may also be used to help speed up your future activities or to improve your user experience by remembering the information that you have already provided to us. We do not use cookies to retrieve information from your computer that was not voluntarily provided by you. The use of cookies is an industry standard. Web beacons are graphic images used to monitor users’ interactions with websites and/or emails. For example, the Company may use web beacons in emails sent to you to in order to ascertain how you interact with the Company’s emails.

Security

We take reasonable precautions to keep your personal information secure. We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you access the Applications or enter and submit information including the use of encrypted browser transmissions.

No transmission of data over the internet is guaranteed to be completely secure. It may be possible for third parties not under the control of Crosslake to intercept or access transmissions or private communications unlawfully. While we strive to protect your information, neither Crosslake nor any of our service providers can ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us over the Internet. Any such transmission is done at your own risk.

Sharing Information with Third Parties

We do not sell or trade personal information or information gathered in the Applications to outside parties without your prior authorization. We may provide your information to third-party providers to perform services on our behalf, such as website hosting, data analysis, web traffic analysis, information technology and related infrastructure, customer service, text messaging or email delivery, auditing, marketing and marketing research activities, communication infrastructure and storage. These third parties have access to your personal information only to perform specific tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use your information for any other purpose. Before engaging a service provider, we perform a security and privacy assessment of the provider.

Applicable Law and Location of the Applications

The laws and regulations in different states and countries impose different requirements for data protection. Our general Website Privacy Notice includes privacy disclosures required for various jurisdictions. We are located in the USA, as are the servers which make this site available worldwide. Please note that any information you provide in the Applications will be transferred to and stored in the USA and by submitting the information you authorize this transfer.

Changes to the Privacy Notice

We may change or update this Privacy Notice from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised disclosure at this same location with a new date.
