This fast-growing processor of electronic payments needed to transform from a mid-market ACH processor to a modern FinTech — while at the same time developing new customer-facing features. Unfortunately, the team had fallen behind on plans to migrate to a native cloud architecture and modernize its twenty-year-old technology estate. A key factor was a lack of internal cloud platform expertise to adequately define target architectures and plan for the migration of historic data.
Crosslake deployed a full Build team, led by an experienced, hands-on practitioner. The team of .Net software engineers, DevOps specialists and test automation experts conducted analysis of the current state architecture and designed a roadmap for transformation that included new software architecture, cloud migration and client management.
Post-discovery, the team was ready to approach the delivery phase with a detailed Build plan that aligned executives, engineering teams and customer service. The team implemented a high-velocity delivery model, modern cloud tech stack and vastly improved security and platform resilience. Most importantly, the company was able to migrate its twenty-year history to the cloud without loss of data or service interruption.
